………………………. OUR AMAZING THEATRE CLASSES: ………………………. Theatre Level 1 - Our theatre 1 class has finished up initial introductions to East Theatre Company and is beginning to work on their Level 1 performance Grimm & Twisted; which will be performed by all Level 1 students on November 9th @6pm. In the meantime, students are coming upon their monologue/mock audition performances to prep them for Spring Musical Auditions in November. Just as a reminder: All students enrolled in a theatre class must see the two main stage productions this year Antigone and Urinetown. Tickets are available now. This is for a grade and there will be a test on the productions Theatre Level 2 - In level 2, our students are working on non-material culture, by studying folklore and stories from around the world, and by writing and performing scripts for their own folktales based on family traditions. They will soon be moving on to learning and practicing hand-to-hand stage combat. Afterwards, they will be working in groups to begin planning design concepts for the Level one performance in November.
